My Real Estate Background

Although I've been actively working in real estate since 2003, my introduction to the fascinating world of real estate occurred when I was a youngster. My mother was the first female real estate sales associate in the Toronto area, working for A.E. LePage in the '60s. I served as her personal assistant, with particular responsibility for maintaining the paper-based (!) MLS data for my mother's territory.

From my mother, I learned the value of outstanding customer service - and a lot of good tips. Now, as a real estate professional associated with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties, I pledge this same 24K Gold Customer Service to all of my customers and clients.

Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties, I had the pleasure of serving the CENTURY 21 System as Senior Director, eLearning for CENTURY 21 Canada in Vancouver, BC and Senior Director, Learning Delivery, for CENTURY 21 Real Estate LLC in Parsippany, NJ.

I love helping people buy a new home, and sell their current one. Houses simply fascinate me, and I like homes of all styles and ages.

Both first-timers and "old hands" at real estate enjoy working with me, because I have a natural empathy with their own particular circumstances, and help them solve problems. I'm very patient, and pay close attention to important details. Veterans and active military personnel will receive the prompt and efficient service they need.

In My Spare Time

My husband and I are avid concert- and opera-goers.  Throughout the concert season, you may encounter us at New York Philharmonic concerts, at the Metropolitan Opera, at Carnegie Hall - or in nearby restaurants.  (I always check in, on Swarm.)

We both sing with the Summit Chorale, New Jersey's oldest continuously performing choral group.

We also love to travel, taking a trip somewhere in Europe most years, and spending 2 weeks at our timeshare (the beautiful Hanalei Bay Resort on Kaua'i), during the Winter and Spring.

I love to read - histories, biographies, mysteries, and historical novels - and listen to music. I'm also quite thoroughly addicted to crime-solving shows on TV; favorites include Masterpiece Mystery, the Law & Order franchise, and N.C.I.S.

And, I'm an active member of  my church, singing in the choir, playing recorder and handbells, and reading the first lesson. I also participate in our monthly services for the Vito Gallo Senior Center in Summit, NJ.
